Making laundry soap from MamaSuds Castile Soap

You will need: rubber/nitrile gloves, measuring cup, pot, spoon and large resealable container that will hold at least 64 ounces.

Step 1: Dissolve 1/2 cup Borax and 1 cup of Soda Wash into warm water (6 cups) on a stove while stirring.

Step 2: If you wish to add a scent, add your essential oils to your castile soap. We recommend 25-50 drops.

Step 3: After the mixture has cooled, add it to 2 cups of MamaSuds Castile Soap. Mix well.  Add the rest of your water so that you have 64 ounces of laundry soap.

Step 4: Let the Laundry Detergent cool completely. Depending on temperature, the mixture can get thick, especially if you add essential oils.

Directions: For a regular washer use 1/4 cup  per load. For an HE washer use 1-2 Tablespoon or less per load.
